An English singer-songwriter making quirky pop-rock tunes with unusual themes. Just released a debut solo album 'TOYS FROM BALSA'. The self-written,
performed and produced album features songs about plastic bags, cannibalism, abusive relationships, a communist feast and Laurel & Hardy in heaven.
There's also a bonus track about John & Yoko in bed with a pet, featuring the German lo-fi duo Woog Riots. Influences? "Quirky pop rock" with
a vocal style likened by some to David Bowie. Spent a lot of time listening to Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy), Robyn Hitchcock (Soft Boys), Flaming Lips, Bruce
Springsteen and George Formby.
